My entire family loves my deviled eggs. They always have. At every family holiday/celebration/get together I was asked to bring the deviled eggs. Random right? Well then I met my husband and, at his first family gathering he got to taste my deviled eggs. Now he’s obsessed and requests them for birthdays, Fathers Day, etc.
So, we had some eggs getting close to expiration the other day and my husband nonchalantly says “you should blog about making deviled eggs”. So here it is!
My recipe for deviled eggs is pretty simple. Here is what you need for 1/2 dozen eggs.
1/2 cup Miracle Whip
1.5 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
***The beauty of this recipe is that you can use more or less of any of the ingredients to your taste!***
STEP 1: Boil and peel your eggs. For the best way to do this, check this post out.
STEP 2: Slice your eggs in half, scooping the yolk into a bowl.
STEP 3: Use a fork to mash up the yolk then add the Miracle Whip, Mustard, and Worcestershire. Stir until well blended.
STEP 4: Using a teaspoon, divide the yolk mixture evenly into each egg white.
If you want to be really fancy, use a cookie press tip to distribute the yolk and make them look professionally done!
STEP 5: Sprinkle the tops with paprika, cover and refrigerate. Serve chilled.
That’s my recipe! I know there are hundreds of variations out there. What ingredients do you like to put in your deviled eggs?
